GLBT Weddings – Capturing the Images of Love

‘Capturing Love’: Gay Weddings Don’t Fit the Straight Mold – as featured on ABC News

An interesting guide to capturing the images of LGBT weddings.

It shouldn’t have to take a book since it should just be common sense…love is love is love but some need some assistance in doing this ‘new’ type of wedding photography.  But if people feel they need it…this is a good reference.

Carrie Underwood’s ‘Magic’ Dress

Carrie Underwood’s dress was a showstopper!  Though in all honesty it was a pretty simple trick with the lights…she basically wore a movie projector screen as her dress…

If a person wears a LARGE skirt, lighting images can be projected on the skirt.  The person just has to be sure to HOLD STILL and not get caught up in the moment and start moving around.

Here is a video of the performance where you can see the images changing….The colors start at about the one minute mark.

Food as Centerpieces

I am always looking for new things to display in the middle of the table.  I like the idea of using food for a different twist to the table top decoration.   I made one from strawberries, it was showy, smelled out of this world and added some fun to the table.  (I added a few others I have seen recently below.)

The visual of these apples, created by C.Mariani is so simple yet SO striking!
